MindMirror opens a short setup first if you have not saved the basics yet. Reflect opens next, and Return or Review become more useful as threads connect over time.
- Saved threads stay in your account so Return can reopen them without asking you to start from zero.
- Carry-forward is optional on every thread, so a reflection can stay private to itself.
- Review is separate from Return, which means a thread can still reopen later without showing up in Review.
- MindMirror does not sell reflections, and Settings includes export and deletion tools for saved MindMirror data.
Secure sign-in and session management are handled by Clerk. MindMirror stores primary app data in Neon and only sends reflection text to OpenAI when you use a feature that needs AI work, such as a reply, Return context, safety review, or Review.
