You control continuity
Carry-forward is optional on every reflection. A thought can stay saved to the thread inside Neon-backed storage without being used as cross-session context.
MindMirror helps you start with a real thought, return to the same thread with context, and review what is changing over time.
Not a blank journal. Not a generic AI chat. MindMirror is built for the thoughts that revisit you and become easier to understand when you return to the same thread.
Free is meant to prove the core loop before any upgrade matters.
The first reflection should help now. The return should help more because the thread is already alive, the re-entry is clearer, and Review can show what actually moved.
You still brace before authority conversations.
You are catching the pattern earlier instead of only after the fact.
This is less about one comment and more about an older reflex you can now name.
MindMirror keeps the promise simple: useful on the first visit, easier to re-enter on the second, and more revealing once the same thread has history behind it.
Start with the real thought that is active right now and get somewhere honest in the first session.
When the thread still matters, come back with context already there instead of rebuilding the setup from scratch.
See what stayed live, what shifted, and what can finally quiet down as your reflections connect over time.
Most reflection tools can help once. MindMirror is built to help again when the thought comes back, and to make that return feel calmer, faster, and more cumulative.
Saving words is not the same as preserving momentum. Without continuity, you still spend energy just getting back to the live issue.
The value is not a longer transcript. It is a better way back in, grounded in the same thread you already started.
You do not have to reconstruct the setup before you can think clearly again.
Review can notice believable movement, not just a pile of entries or transcripts.
Returning feels worthwhile because the product gets more grounded as the same threads connect.
MindMirror should feel trustworthy before it feels useful. The promise is calm support, real continuity, understandable controls, and enough provider clarity that you do not have to guess where sensitive reflection data goes.
Carry-forward is optional on every reflection. A thought can stay saved to the thread inside Neon-backed storage without being used as cross-session context.
Return and Review are controlled separately, so a thread can reopen later without automatically becoming part of Review or reminder detail.
MindMirror supports reflection. It is not therapy, crisis support, medical advice, or legal advice, and OpenAI processing is used only for requested reflection features rather than advertising.
MindMirror currently uses Clerk for sign-in, Neon for primary app storage, OpenAI for requested AI features, Resend for support or reminder email when email delivery is enabled, and Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights for product and performance measurement. Read the policies, or contact us directly for support and privacy requests at contact@mindmirrorapp.ai.
Free should prove the loop honestly. Premium should feel like less re-explaining, stronger re-entry, and fuller Review once change is believable.
Start here. Free is meant to prove that Reflect is useful now and that Return and Review already have a visible shape.
Upgrade when the same thread matters enough that better re-entry, more live threads, and fuller Review would genuinely help.
Start free first. Upgrade when you want less re-explaining, stronger re-entry, and fuller Review, not just more room to send text.
The handoff into the product should feel honest. These are the questions that most affect clarity, trust, and whether MindMirror feels like what the homepage promised.
No. MindMirror is a continuity-based reflection app. The point is not open-ended chatting or piling up entries. The point is to make returning to the same thread feel meaningfully better than starting over.
You start with a short setup so MindMirror can keep a few account-level preferences in view. Then you land in Reflect. If you started a thought on the homepage, MindMirror carries it in so you do not start with a blank page. Each thread separately decides whether it can be used for Return or Review later.
Your reflections are saved to your account so Return can reopen them later. Carry-forward and Review are controlled separately at the thread level, MindMirror does not sell reflection content, and Settings includes export and permanent deletion tools for saved MindMirror data. MindMirror currently uses named providers such as Clerk for authentication, Neon for primary storage, and OpenAI for AI generation.
No. MindMirror supports reflection. It is not therapy, crisis support, medical advice, or legal advice, and it should not replace professional help when that is needed.
Upgrade when you want less re-explaining, stronger re-entry, and fuller Review once change is believable. Premium is about better continuity quality, not just more chat.
Start free, carry in something real, and see whether coming back feels calmer than starting from zero.
